The Hercules TMS570LS12x has two processors running in lock-step correct? I just wanted to confirm that both processor chips will be monitoring both booster pack headers and not 1 each.

    Hello,

    The two CPU cores are executing exactly the same task/code. The second CPU is running with 2 cycles delay. The outputs of the two CPUs are compared on each CPU clock cycle (CCM is responsible for this) and if there is a mismatch an error of the highest severity is flagged. There is not two peripheral resources.
