Hi Sir,
We are looking for a Micro Controller which can connect LM95172 and record the temperature of the Tire.
Kindly suggest.
Thank you,
Faraz

Hi Kyza
What's the functions do you want? Just like how many of UART or ADC or SPI or GPIOs do you need?
Is your project complex? What's the memory size will you needed?
How fast do you need to deal with your project? Does the 16MHz meet your application?
Best regards
Gary
Hi Gary,
Many thanks for the reply.
We need to finish the project immediately; we are already late by months.
The requirement is, we want to build a small circuit to be placed (moulded) within the Tire, in the Rim of the Tire.
The circuit needs to connect to the Sensors (Temperature and Orientation Sensors). Both these sensors are moulded in the Tire. Orientation (Movement) sensor placed in-between the Tire Threads and Temperature sensor is placed just above the Tire threads.
The data (Temperature and Movement) is recorded in the memory chip. Memory chip is either separate or built within the circuit.
If you need more clarity I’m reachable at faraz@masatechcorp.com.
Thank you,
Kyza
Hi Gary,
I suggest you go with TI CC2640R2F Bluetooth MCU's. You collect your sensor data periodically then send them through Bluetooth Connection to your smartphone.
There are existing TI CC2640R2F based products that does something similar, like Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Is it (just) me or has (somehow) the 'plot here' thickened? The opening post seeks an MCU able to mate well w/the, 'LM95172' (high performance) temperature sensor/IC.
Yet the latest post (just above) notes:
Kyza Amed said:Sensors (Temperature and Orientation Sensors)
and then adds mention of a 'memory chip!' Thus - your 'real' requirement is unclear.
Note too - that unless yours is an, 'Educational, Proof of Concept' (my suspicion) - that tire will be rotating - and you will require 'Transporting your Signal from your 'Tire resident MCU' to the vehicle's interior.' (i.e. dashboard display) My car captures & displays the air-pressure at all 4 wheels - you may have a similar requirement - and it is 'Non-Trivial' to 'manage, time & coordinate those 4 transmissions. (So that each can be properly received.) A 'SDR' (Software Defined Radio) proves highly useful to diagnose & aid in such (likely) RF development.
This may suggest that your (real) need is for an MCU equipped w/(some) RF capability - while able to interface successfully w/'Temperature, Orientation & Memory components.'
There is ZERO mention of any 'Performance Goals' (i.e. Specifications) - thus the choice of an MCU (at this time) is beyond the bounds of mere mortals...
As always - devil luxuriates in those (most always) 'missing details!'
BTW - English IS complex ... the multiple posts landing here form a 'forum THREAD.' The grooved & regular pattern of the tire's 'road-contact' surface form the tire's TREAD!
Hi,
Likewise if you prefer MCU with Bluetooth there is a Automotive Qualified Bluetooth MCU http://www.ti.com/product/CC2640R2F-Q1
But, If you put this Bluetooth MCU to be moulded to the tire, the rubber material might affect RF. If the antenna is external to the rubber material might work.

Greetings Kel,
It becomes increasingly clear that (only) you & I have identified the (completely) missing 'RF Aspect' of this project as the 'potential', 'Elephant in the room!'
Now it 'is 'possible' that poster's project escapes the need to, 'Transfer Live Temperature Data.' Such would occur if this application was, 'Near Research Based' - and (only), 'After the Fact review' of the 'Harvested Tire Temperature Data' (stored w/in poster's memory chip) proved acceptable. (credit/blame UCLA Law for such insight)
Almost all of the 'Cb1 land/marine fleet' (we ARE 'Mobile' - after all) are 'factory equipped' w/Tire Pressure Displays. (as just one function - w/in the 'selectable and/or rotating' dashboard presentation array)
Never have staff nor I seen 'Tire Pressure AND Tire Temperature' combined. (but for 'Formula & other high-end' track Racing!) It should be noted that while, 'Tire Pressure monitoring/alarming may demand a high data rate - Tire Temperature monitoring likely accepts lowered data rates.' (which (may) excuse the, 'Surprising lack of specification' so evidenced here!)
Shown here is my, '1980s Ferrari Dashboard' design - which made a (somewhat) crude 'stab' - at Tire Pressure (but not Tire Temperature) monitoring... All of those displays were, 'Sunlight Readable!'
Those displays are, 'Plasma Gas Discharge' (from Sperry, later Burroughs) along w/Vacuum Fluorescents. All key/critical engine (but not tire) functions were monitored (and alarm capable.)
