Hi Team,

We are planning to use TM4C1294NCPDT in our custom design. Can anyone please confirm the following:

1) Does TM4C1294NCPDT have support to integrate SPI based NOR Flash and QSPI based NOR flash? What is the maximum clock speed that can be supported and doe we have any driver support for SPI/QSPI?

2) Is TM4C1294NCPDT capable of self OTA update from Flash or through CAN/Ethernet/RS485?

3) Is there any reference design for isolated CAN interface using TM4C1294NCPDT?

    There is a TI Design Example that includes using the QSSI to a MX66L51235F (512 Mb Macronix Quad SPI Serial Flash) at 60MHz, the maximum QSSI frequency.

    There is a ROM based bootloader that can perform updates over UART or Ethernet (also for I2C or SPI). There is code available for flash based bootloaders for those peripherals and for CAN. (The flash based bootloaders are provided in  case customization is required.)

    There are software library routines for CAN and simple examples. There is an evaluation module of the ISO1050 isolated CAN transceiver that can be used with the EK-TM4C1294NXL launchpad, but it is not a plug-on booster pack. It would require connecting with jumper wires.
