CCS/TM4C1294NCPDT: Error while dumping the code in customized PCB for TM4C1294NCPDT

Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hii

While dumping the code in customized PCB for TM4C1294NCPDT  I am getting the following error.

I have attached  the schematics of  customized PCB for TM4C1294NCPDT, Error while dumping the code, and Status of Jtag Connections.

Kindly go through the attachments and help me out  if I am missing any steps

[Start]

Execute the command:

%ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -S integrity

[Result]

  • Try adding the 4.7K Ohm resistor from RBIAS to ground. This is described in the errata document as advisory ETH#03.

  • Hii Bob Crosby

I have connected the 4.87K register at RBIAS and 10 K Pull up on Reset pin.

But still  I am getting the same error.

    Thanks & regard

  • Have you tried using the JTAG test function in Code Composer Studio? If that fails, look for a hardware issue. Without launching your target configuration, open it in CCS and you should see the "Test Connection" button.

  • Hii Bob Crosby

Sir , kindly go through the below Test connection file. there it's showing IR and DR test succeeded.

In first conversation of thread already i have shared the schematics of customized pcb of tm4c1294ncpdt.

kindly go through that schematics and let me know if there is any changes.

  • It looks like the JTAG signals are good. Check the voltage on the RST pin. You should add a pullup resistor.

  • Hii Bob Crosby

I have already connected the pull up resistor at RST pin.

Problem is occurring due to  25 MHz crystal, that crystal is not working.

Now the board is working fine.

    Thanks & Regard
