Compiler/TMS570LC4357: CAN bootloader for the R5F chip

Greetings,

I am looking to use a CAN bootloader for the TMS570LC4357 Hercules Development board, with the Cortex-R5F MCU.

I've found some forums with slightly different questions about a similar topic. I have found this (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spna187/spna187.pdf) document regarding the CAN bootloader for the Cortex-R4F chip. 

My quesiton is if this document is relevent also to the TMS570LC4357  with the R5F chip, or else is there other documentation for the CAN bootloader for the Coretx-R5?
