How similar is an activation of nPORRST while the microcontroller is powered, compared to a power off to power on reset ?

Will the ESM error status registers survive a lengthy power off?

Do peripheral and DMA error related registers behave like the ESM ones?

    Hello Thomas,

    You can not find a difference (power-on reset to power cycle) from system status registers. All registers will be reset to their power-on reset values and bit 15 of SYSESR (PORST bit) will be set.
