TM4C1294NCPDT: Driver I2C slave for TIRTOS 2.16

Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT

Hello, everybody.

I share with you a link to a TIRTOS driver code for the I2C slave on TM4C1294XL microcontrollers. The code was based on the UART driver for TIVA.

At the moment only the blocking mode for reading and writing is supported. It uses interruptions for peripheral management.

The slave address is configured in the parameter structure.

If this post is not in the right place, please move it. I hope to save a couple of hours for some developer!

  • Greetings,

Yours is a terrific illustration of, 'Forum: Power, Focus & Kindness.'      Thank you - know that your effort IS appreciated.

May the record (further) note - 'TWO References to, 'The Count of Monte Cristo' have now appeared w/in less than 24 hours!     (and some claim Tech & Literary cannot mix!)     Link reveals a poster trying to escape his 'dark prison' - 'not' by 'chiseling out' - but instead thru the use of, 'Franken-API.'

  • HI Cristian,

Thank you for sharing your project with the community. The I2C example from TI-RTOS library is not interrupt based. In addition, I2C slave in general is more tricky to get it working than I2C master. Your example being interrupt based and set up as a slave will certainly benefit many people looking for the same solution. I will play with your example myself when I get to work tomorrow and hope to reference your post to others when similar questions are asked.
