Dear all:
We are attempting to program and debug TMS570LC4357. Our intention is to do something similar of what is implemented in the TI Dev Kit “Hercules TMS570LC43x Development Kit”. In the schematic there is the following path: USB connector-->USB controller --> XC2C32A CoolRunner-II CPLD--> JTAG. What is the purpose of the X2C32A? Could this be done with a USB to JTAG typical adaptor cable so neither the USB controller nor the XC2C32A are needed?
