Hi,

I have purchased TMS570LS04s/03x LaunchPad. Although, after installing CCS V9 and selected Hercules family of MCUs during installation, I can not find the TMS570LS04s/03x LaunchPad from the Resource Explorer. Can any of you help on this? Thanks in advance.

Design resources for Hercules devices is not available via Resource Explorer. You can access them from the tool folder for the LaunchPad here: https://www.ti.com/tool/LAUNCHXL-TMS57004

Of the product folder for the device here: https://www.ti.com/product/TMS570LS0432/toolssoftware

Thank you so much for responding. But I'm still confused. Files with what extension? as there's no tool folder!

Hello,

Please, download and install HALCoGen. HALCoGen provides a graphical user interface that allows the user to configure peripherals, interrupts, clocks, and other Hercules microcontroller parameters.Once the Hercules device is configured, the user can generate peripheral initialization and driver code, which can be imported into CCS.

You can download HALCoGen from here:

After installing HALCoGen under install folder you will find some examples. Also, in HALCoGen Help->Help topics->Examples you will find guidance for using this examples.
