Please, I have problems setting the UART for receiving (i just need to receive the array that i transmitted ), I followed the examples but still not working. I did the following:
Using HALGOGEN:
1. Enable SCI2 driver
2.Configure SCI2 , just setting the baud rate 9600 and 2 stop bit and no parity ,length 8,enable TX and RX interrupt

3. enable channel 13 with IRQ in VIM 

4. Generating the code.

I don't know if i should configure more than that, unfortunately the examples are NOT clear.

The project I've attached is working at my side. Did you shorten Tx and Rx pins ( connector J6, pins 3 and 4 )?

i am using SCI2 with  connector J6, pins 3 and 4 as you recommended 

In halcogen i just enabled SCI2 driver.

do i miss anything

or need to enable mibspi and gio

as i see you write in ccs   ( gioGetBit(mibspiPORT3, 0) == 0)

and you includded two halcugen       UART_TMS570LS1224_TX_RX_bak       &     UART_TMS570LS1224_TX_RX

why you did that

In attached project few bytes are sent when button is pressed (S3) that is why gioGetBit is used. Pin 55 is in mibspi mode and mibspi is enabled to initialize mibspi pins pins. There are other ways to do this as well.

If you remove this the code will work too. In your modified code bytes will be send periodically.

i enabled mibspi driver and Pin 55 in PINMUX 

and used your all code it sends the array  of {1,2,3,4,5} while pressing s3

i used to check that i received the same array by using expressions but it receives zero

I've tested your project without any modification and it works. Did you enable "Continuous refresh" in debug window?

could you please tell me by steps how you checked rx data?

and when i press s3 the data shown in the terminal is it the transmitter data or received data?
