Hi,

I'm using EM1402EVM together with LAUNCHXL-TMS57004. I have some questions about N2HET for understand why it used. I know than I need two UART to communicate with EM1402EVM and PC independently, and TMS570 just have one shared. Why is N2HET chosen to communicate with the EM1402EVM and not SCI/LI? Can I use N2HET[0] and N2HET[2] instead of SCIRX and SCITX?

Hello,

TMS570LS0432 has only one SCI/LIN module. This module (SCI/LIN) is used to communicate with 1402 EVM. N2HET Emulated UART is used to communicate with Host PC to display the status and control the balancing operation during run time.

Can I use the SCI/LIN module to communicate it with Host PC and N2HET Emulated UART for 1402 EVM without any modification of TMS570LS0432?

Hello,

The software is written to use SCI to communicate with 1402 EVM and N2HET UART to communicate with PC. You should modify the code to use it in a different way.
