TM4C1290NCPDT: LM flash programmer app won't open on new laptop

I have a Lenovo windows 10 laptop now. I have the CCSv8 working there. I tried installing LM flash programmer and the app won't open. It still opens on my windows 10 Samsung notebook. Yesterday, it opened with win 8 compatibility settings on the Lenovo, but today it won't open even as an administrator. Stellaris drivers are correctly installed, all COM ports show up. Any pointers here are much appreciated.

I am running LM Flash Programmer on a Windows 10 laptop. If it won't even open, I suspect that the installation was corrupted. I suggest you remove it, download again and re-install.

I tried a new download and install. I still have the same results, app won't open. CCSv8 has a flash button. Maybe this is the new programmer?

You can program the device using CCSV8 with "Run" -> "Load" -> "Load Program". LM Flash Programmer is not required. But that does not explain why it will not open on your laptop.

It took a few rounds of uninstall/restart and reinstall and it now works, thanks
