TM4C1290NCPDT: QSSI Memory Selection

Hi,

Is there any recommendation for a memory device to be paired with TM4C1290NCPD? We are looking at replacing a 8Gb SD card with QSSI memory.

I have seen the following applications note but the memory device listed (Macronix MX66L51235F (512Mb / 64M x 8) ) is not recommended for new designs.

    Hello Garret,

    We don't have specific recommendations to make. In general we aren't really in position to recommend specific devices from other vendors and we don't make such memory devices ourselves. Even the TI design shouldn't been seen as a recommendation as much as just having picked a device to demonstrate the functionality.

    Regarding that exact device, it looks like that memory device has a recommended product listed. Maybe they can look into that to start. But I think the customer should compare the cost & performance for memory devices that fit their needs.
