Dear all,

I wanna test SafeTI Diagnostic Library. i followed the demo file path: C:\ti\Hercules\SafeTI Diagnostic Library\2.4.0\build\TMS570LS1227_NoOS

in the project properties\resources\General I choose the following to allow the project run in my board

when i build the project i have these errors

 

  • Ahmad,

    You should be able to ignore those warning. as it appears that the executable may have been built. You can check to see the .map file in the project to see what section .intvecs has got assigned to by the linker. The other warning is about a redundant comparison in the code which should also be harmless.

    If you need to know details on why the warning occurs then please post the question on Code composer studio (Development tools)  forums.

    The CCS project creates a debug folder where the .out is located. This will also typically contain a .map file if the linker option to generate one has been enabled.  If it is not being generated then look for --map_file option in ARM linker -> Basic Options.

    PS: I would recommned instead of looking at the Problems Tab in CCS Debug View. Look at View-> Console to see complete log of all the source files, compiler settings and destination folders to see where the object and executable is being archived.

  • Your resolution of the warning by adding a section explicitly for the interrupt vectors seems to be correct.

    Add --verbose_diagnostics to your build.  That will help you see the problem.  For more discussion on diagnostics and how to handle them, see the diagnostics section of this presentation on the Wiki.     The SDL has a user guide in the docs folder with SafeTIDiagnosticLibrary-User'sGuide-v2.4.0.chm file. IF you look for demo in the document. It described the building and running demo.

    The example is also design to profile and logs the test fails and passing using the variables periodicSTPassCount, periodicSTFailCount  and log the profiling in Profile.txt when the compiler macro FUNCTION_PROFILING_ENABLED
