TMDSEMU110-U: UART Communication required pins from XDS110 Debugger

Hi,

I'm using XDS110 debugger to program(UART/JTAG) my board. I'm using CC3220 Module on my board. I program with JTAG connection using CCS and it worked. For that, I used CM10 pin for JTAG.

Then I tried to load my program (image file) using UNIFLASH with UART connections followed by nRESET, TX,RX, GND taking pins from debugger. I was unable to connect and program. Then I added VTRef pin from debugger. I can use the UART connection successfully. 

I was wondering about Target Supply in, Target supply out pins.

I need to know about those pins (TGT Supply IN?OUT) and is there any involvement of those pins with UART connection?

I checked TGTVDD (sense) and VTREF were shorted.

what are all the necessary pins from XDS110 debugger to establish the UART communication?
