Hello

I request a design review for RM57L843BZWTT + TPS65381AQDAPRQ1

i attach a schematic file.

and i have question.

1.  I want to use the emulator with XDS110 and the connector with TI 20-pin connector.the avaliable?

2. Is it avaliable to input Reset of RM57L843BZWTT to TPS65381AQDAPRQ1? (see schematic)

3. Do you need to jumper to disable watch dog reset of TPS65381AQDAPRQ1 for Download a flash at first time?

4. Please review the connection to DPRAM when using two RM57L843BZWTT.

    Hello,

    QJ> The XDS110 comes in a package consisting of:

    • XDS110 debug pod
    • 20-pin debug cable
    • 14-pin auxiliary cable
    • TI 20-pin to TI 14-pin converter adapter
    • TI 20-pin to ARM Cortex 20-pin converter adapter
    • TI 20-pin to ARM Cortex 10-pin converter adapter

    so 20-pin connector (ARM or TI) on your PCB board is ok

    2. Is it avaliable to input Reset of RM57L843BZWTT to TPS65381AQDAPRQ1? (see schematic)

    QJ>There is not no input pin to reset TPS65381. It has an output signal to reset TMS570

    3. Do you need to jumper to disable watch dog reset of TPS65381AQDAPRQ1 for Download a flash at first time?

    QJ>You need to find a way to either disable the watchdog on TPS65381 or disconnect the trigger signal to TMS570 nPORRST

    4. Please review the connection to DPRAM when using two RM57L843BZWTT.

    As Mukul said, we don't review schematics at public domain. I noticed that:

    1. you don't have pull-down to nTRST

    2. C2 and C3 should be equal to: 2*(18-2)=32pF,  assume Cstray=2pF

    3. Use pull-down to TCK

    We do not offer this service.

    We can only answer any specific questions or concerns you may have on your customer's design.
