CCS/DK-TM4C129X: Not able to use examples

Hi All,

I am willing to use examples related to DK-TM4C129x. But I am not able to use it. When I am importing the project from the directory C:\ti\TivaWare_C_Series-2.1.4.178\examples\boards\dk-tm4c129x\blinky, 

it shows file not found. I am attaching the screenshot. In the end, I want to to use wifi and ethernet related examples with this board but with TI-RTOS. Please guide me on how to get started with these examples. 

Also, which debugger I need to select from the CCS list in order to debug these programs?

    Hi,

      How did you import the project?  Did you go to the File->Import to import the project? Please see below.

    Once you get the blinky working I will suggest you play with other examples provided by the TivaWare library to get a feel on the TivaWare development environment. 

    The DK-board has on-board ICDI debug probe. Therefore, you can select ICDI as your debug probe in CCS. You just need to connect the Debug USB to your PC. The DK board also has external JTAG connector. If you have other external debug probes as your choices then you can use them.

    The TI-RTOS examples can be found in CCS. Go to View->Resource Explorer to open the Resource Explorer pane. See below. You will find the TI_RTOS Ethernet examples.

    Hi Charles,

    Thanks for writing. I am able to import the projects now and able to debug it. I am using the network example from the ti rtos examples for board dk-tm4c129x. I am trying to use wifi TCP echo example for ccs. I am able to download the program to my board but now getting an idea of how to use it. How to connect to an AP using this code? Is there any part of the code where I can put my SSID and password? 

    Also, how to use runtime object view from ccs for rtos? I am getting this error (PFA).

    Hi,  

      I have no experience with CC3x00 Wifi products. However, I find this below posts that may help answer your question. I will suggest you open a new thread to the Wifi forum for assistance if you have new questions concerning CC3X00. 

    Here is the link to the TI-RTOS workshop materials and webpage to examples. You can learn about TI-RTOS including ROV. I will suggest you play with the examples first.
