CCS/TMS570LS0432: Help on CAN

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I tried implementing CAN1 for TMS570LS0432, the baud rate is set at 500kpbs. After sending 1 CAN frame, i'm getting 0xE5 in Error & Status register. What could be the possible reason for getting this error? There is 120E termination resistor.

Do you have second node?

Are you using a transceivers?

Yes, transceiver is being used (NXP's TJA1050T).

I don't have second node, but i've connected PCAN on the other side.

Dear Miro,

There was a termination resistor, i by-passed it & now I'm able to transmit CAN frames without any error.
