TMDS570LS31HDK: ESM: Debuging and TCM - ECC live lock detect

Part Number: TMDS570LS31HDK

Hi,

I may detect a possible bug in TMS570 SOC, while debuging with a JLink(V6.54c) and GDB a the ESM detekt a ECC live lock(ESM group 2, channel 16).
Run to breakpoint or interrupt while running the error is not triggert. The error is only triggert while singel stepping. The GDB readout the flash while the CPU Access to the flash.

It is possible to mask this error in ESM?

Thank you and regards

Andy

  • Hello,

ESM Group2 (high-severity) channels are with predefined interrupt generation and predefined ERROR pin behavior. Group2 errors generate a non-maskable high-priority interrupt to the CPU and assert the ERROR pin.

There is more information about this error in the following thread:

  • Hi Miro,

Thanks for the fast replay. In this Post is my error not described I discovered a error while Debugging. The Debuger shouldn't raise a livelock error. Which cases raise this error and is possible to get more Information? Which TCM raised the error and in wich Memory cell? I tested the bug with two baords same revision.

    best regards,

    Andy Werner
