RM57L843: leakage current and low power mode current

Hi Champs

like to get some current numbers for the leakage on the RM57L843 & RM46L852. Also like to get some power numbers on the low power mode for the both devices. These numbers are not in the data sheet.

Hi Mohsen,

Hercules MCUs are not suitable for use in applications with low-power requirements across the full temperature range over which operation is supported. This is the main reason why the low-power mode numbers are not included in the datasheet.

What temperature range are you looking for while in a low-power mode? Generally low-power applications for Hercules MCUs completely power down the MCU with a PMIC-based scheme that supports wake-up using ignition/CAN/etc.

The temperature they are looking at is -40 to 90. I assume their are multiple low power modes so if i can get the power numbers for those that would be great.

Mohsen,

There are low-power-modes as described in the reference manual. However these modes may not be as useful as desired over this temperature range. As you can see the power numbers in these modes are not included in the datasheet, so I will have to see if I can find internal characterization data.
