TMS570LS3137: RTOS with TCP/IP and SNMP

Hi everybody,

I am working with Hercules TMS570LS3137. (One of my concerns for operating system is that it should provide TCP/IP Stack and SNMP )

I want to use operating system as SafeRTOS or Micrium μC/OS-II .

Does anybody have any experience with TMS570LS3137 + RTOS (my main choice is SafeRTOS) + TCP/IP + SNMP? And in the case we chose SafeRTOS or Micrium μC/OS-II, can we use those operating systems with HALCoGen?

    Hi, Berat,

    I just took a look at the SafeRTOS web page. In its download page, it shows thtat there is demo for TCP/IP with SafeRTOS. You may want to try it. I don't see it mentions SNMP, I guess you will need to parse the packets and develop the SNMP engine. SafeRTOS is not a TI product. You may want to contact SafeRTOS for more info.

    In uC/OS-II web page, I see it only has one Application Note with Cortex-R  using HalCoGen from TI. I assume this is the Hercules device, but it doesn't seem to support TCP/IP like other AppNotes for other devices.

    HalCoGen is a tool to configure the Hercules. If SafeRTOS generates .hcg file, then the .hcg file can be imported to HalCoGen to view the configuration.
