I have found an apparent discrepancy between HalCoGen and the TRM for the TMS570LS3137 in the section on I2C.
When you hover your cursor over the open drain check box a pop up appears that says "Enable open drain output", which I take to mean that if you check the box it is enabled. The resultant code puts a 1 in the PDR register. However, when you look at the TRM (spnu499C - March 2018, page 1606) it says 1- open drain function is disabled.
Which is correct, HalCoGen or the TRM?
