CCS/RM44L520: we can't erase the on-chip flash while still can read the contents of flash out

Part Number: RM44L520
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi, Ti friends,

We have been using RM44L520 in our projects for more than 2 years. It works well.

But recently we have a problem with one of our board (only occurs on this board): One day, we just found that we could not upload program to the RM44L520 anymore. We could do this before. And the same program can be uploaded to other RM44L520s using the same PC and XDS.

In CCS it shows:

CortexR4: GEL Output:  Memory Map Setup for Flash @ Address 0x0CortexR4: GEL Output:  Memory Map Setup for Flash @ Address 0x0 due to System Reset
CortexR4: File Loader: Memory write failed: Algorithm indicated it failed to erase bank 0, sector 0
CortexR4: GEL: File: E:\YS\SW\02_PRJ\03_VA21\07_code\int\sr_emb\sr_safeguard_top\Release\sr_safeguard_top.out: Load failed.
CortexR4: GEL Output:  Memory Map Setup for Flash @ Address 0x0 due to System Reset

We tried to erase any sector of the flash by using Uniflash. but failed;
And we also tried to read the contents out of the flash. It works; Besides, the program stored before can still work after power on (it flashes a 7 segment display).

We have searched the E2E forum for possible clues, but so far our problem is still unsolved.
