Hi, 

I'm now starting to learn the tms570 series MCU. 

Before that, I have used tmsf28335. 

What's the main feature difference between HERCULES and C2000? 

Why battery-related projects usually deal with HERCULES? 

Could anyone explain the difference in industry perspective?

    1. Hercules MCU's focus on safety and performance. Hercules RMx series MCUs are certified by TÜV to be capable of achieving IEC 61508 SIL3, and TMS570 series MCUs (automotive-grade) are certified by TÜV to be capable of achieving IEC 61508 SIL3 and ISO 26262 ASIL D. 

    Hercules MCUs are high performance Arm Cortex-R-based MCUs from 80 Mhz up to 330 MHz with intelligent peripherals.
