RM46L852: FMEDA Worksheet for RM46L852

Hi,

I using a RM46L852 at SIL4 project for Railway(EN50128).

And I was select diagnostic features using to "SPNU534B - Detailed Safety Analysis Report for RM46x" with "Hercules FMEDA RM46x v1.2".

But our assessor does not accept a result(99%) using to "Hercules FMEDA RM46x v1.2".

He said, this FMEDA sheet does not known about which diagnostic feature cover which failure.

Our assessor want selection and using about all diagnostic features of "Hercules FMEDA RM46x v1.2". 

But, we does not think, must select all diagnostic features. and we cannot select all diagnostic features.

So, our assessor need a FMEDA worksheet of "Hercules FMEDA RM46x v1.2", because want known which diagnostic feature cover which failure.

If TI can provide a FMEDA worksheet of "Hercules FMEDA RM46x v1.2", please send to me.

    Hello,

    The FMEDA reflects a quantitative analysis of the failure modes and the effect of on-chip hardware and software diagnostics to detect these failures. Information about which diagnostic feature addresses which failure mode is a qualitative analysis done at an IP-level. This can be certainly provided to your assessor upon request.

    I have sent you a friend request, so that you can send me the contact information for you and the assessor's representative. We have a safeTI NDA between your organization and TI, and I suppose you have a separate NDA with your assessor as well. I can then provide you with the required IP-level FMEAs.

    As a side note, please use the safeTI forum for discussions related to the safeTI collateral.
