TM4C123GH6PM: TM4C123GH6PMIR, micro-controller programming (chip not launchpad development board)

Part Number: TM4C123GH6PM

As part of an academic project I am looking to program a TM4C123GH6PMIR chip but do not know much of what goes into this process or what debuggers/flashers will be required.

I have worked with the tiva launchpad in the past which I know uses the same microcontroller as a debugger to another TM4C chip but am looking for any devices  and/or helpful resources that may point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advanced

  • Greetings,

Feel your pain - yet is not your issue best directed to your academic advisers - who have (likely) ordered this project?

As one 'long' in this industry (and hiring multiple college grads & students) - it is believed that your academic development best resolves around, "Technical Problem Solving" and not (mundane) supporting tasks!    You are "unlikely alone" in this 'Shortfall of Guidance' -  all of your fellow students will be (equally) burdened & delayed.

Is it not fair/proper to ask, "Why?"

  • Hello Nadine,

This guide should provide you the resources you need, if not, you should consider sticking with the LaunchPad: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spma075/spma075.pdf
