F035 Flash API timings

Hello

I am trying to figure out what the timings of Erase, Program and Compact operations performed on Flash are, using the F035 Flash API on a TMS570.

Is there documentation anywhere that can help me to get figures or at least to aid me in a calculation.

I have used the General purpose timer on the TMS570 to try and time the operations myself, but I have noticed that the Erase operations takes a different length of

time for every erase.

I would appreciate any help.

    Hello Kieran,

     

    Erase, Program, and Compact will take different length of times.  Times are device dependent and can vary from operation to operation due to multiple variables.  The data sheet for the device does list nominal and max Erase and Program times excluding the API overhead.
