Hey TI Team

We would like to know the End Of Life (EOL) for the Tiva controller TM4C123GH6PZ I7 micro controller

We are expecting it to be active for next minimum 5 years

Kindly let us know when it would be obsoleted and alternate part for the same in case of obsolescence

Hi Ratna,

Thank you for using our TM4C123 MCU. Although I can't guarantee the TM4C123 product life on paper, I'm confident to say it will be more than 5 years. We are actively supporting the TM4C129/TM4C123 MCU. As a matter of fact, we are planning to release the next version of the TivaWare library soon.

Do you suggest us TM4C129 part instead of 123 considering availability or cost factor ?

If so kindly suggest a full part no. and EV board details so that we consider design revision

Hi Ratna,

The TM4C129 is a more expensive device as it offers more features and has higher performance than the TM4C123. They both will have the same product life longevity and full support for a very long time.
