CCS/TM4C123GH6PM: Confused about Clock Frequency in flash settings in debug in CCS

Hi,

When you go to project properties - debug - flash settings, the crystal frequency setting there, is that referring to the system clock or the external crystal frequency? In the case of the TM4C123 launchpad, I''ve set the system clock to 80MHz. Should I enter 80MHz in the blank or should it be 16MHz? I tried both and I did not notice anything happen. Please clarify this.

Additional question, If I do not use an external crystal and instead use internal oscillator, what should I put in the crystal frequency field?

It should be 16. This parameter is not really used for the TM4C parts as erasing and programming is done using the PIOSC which is always at 16MHz.
