Hi Team,

A customer of mine has version 3 of the Halcogen tool. However, since their system needs to meet functional safety standards, they would also like to have the Safe TI Halcogen CSP. As this requires a license, they had the following questions:

1: What are the terms and conditions for the Halcogen CSP license?

2: Can the license be reused in subsequent versions or does this have to be renewed always?

3: The current Halcogen CSP version is 01.00.00, does this support Halcogen 3 tool?

Hello Obinna,

For #1 and #2, you need to check with LDRA since the license is from LDRA.

For #3, The HALCoGen TAU is compatible with HALCoGen version 4.00.00 or greater.

Hi QJ,

Thanks for the responses. However I do have additional questions from my customer.

1) Does the CSP of the HALCogen tool provide an upgrade mechanism that could help use the UpToDate library in front of the CSP test suite?

2) Where can my customer find the exact price of the HALCogen CSP and the Diagnostic Library CSP?

3) Does the Autosar MCAL for the TMS570 come with some kind of CSP as well?
