The TM4C123GH6PMI provides the integrated In-Circuit Debug Interface (ICDI) which allows programming and debugging of the onboard TM4C1294 microcontroller.

That said - while normally (and narrowly) employed during debug - a "back-channel" USB port is (also) provided. Via creative & clever programming the role of that "ICDI only" MCU may be extended...
