I am evaluating an option to buy LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 board and have a question - do I need to buy any additional HW or SW to debug the MCU? By debugging I meen an option to be able to see registers, RAM, etc while executing the program? Is CCS the SW where can I see all that or any other SW is needed? I see in the description "Onboard USB XDS_ICDIc2 JTAG debug" but what else do I need to use it?
Thanks.
Hello Vitaly,
LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 has built-in XDS110 emulator, and can be powered through the micro-USB port. The launchpad doesn't support external high speed emulator via 14-pin JTAG header (not populated). You don't need to buy other SW and HW to evaluate this device.
