UNIFLASH: Command line argument for UniFLASH to halt execution after program load

Hi,

I am using XDS110 Debug Probe to program TMS570LS0432 using UniFlash command line interface.

Program loading works perfect, however every time the program is loaded into the MCU it automatically runs.

Is there a way to halt immediate program execution (maybe using some setting in UniFlash), since this behavior is not acceptable?

Ivan,

There is no existing option to prevent target execution after program load. But I do have a workaround I can suggest. Please let me know which exact version of UniFlash you are using.

Hi Ki,

Currently I am using the latest version of UniFlash (v5.3.0), but if it is necessary I can migrate to some other version in order to achieve desired behavior.

Ivan,

Can you browse to:

<uniflashDir>\deskdb\content\TICloudAgent\win\ccs_base\DebugServer\scripts\

back up the existing flash.dsls file (you can rename it to something else).

Copy in the attached modified flash.dsls file:

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/312/1452.flash.dsls

See if this workaround works for you
