What is the minimum time for one pulse of LMX2594?Can I generate 8-10ghz stepping pulse directly?Or do I need to reconfigure the registers one frequency at a time?Thank you for attention

Hello,

For this range of frequency tuning, you would cross between different tuning zones of the VCO.

Typically for this type of scenario customers would use the build in autocalibration or build a calibration table for full assist based on the frequencies.

For more details on changing frequencies, please refer to this app note "Streamline RF Synthesizer VCO Calibration and Optimize PLL Lock Time"

Hello,

The minimum ramp time would be 1/fpd. Please take a look at "7.3.13 Ramping Function" for additional details.

Hello,

The calibration time cannot be "set" however, when using auto-ramp function you do have control over RAMP_THRESH, RAMP_SCALE_COUNT and RAMP_DLY_CNT.
