I would like to ask for a piece of advice. I am dealing with an older PCB board with TMS570LC4357 on it. A new need for functionality appeared and i have a problem with NHET setting. I need to detect PWM signals with NHET2. But I also need to use some NHET2 pins as a simple output to maintain old functionality (it is cricial becaue there is located a reset signal to some periferies on the PCB). I figured out to run both functions but separately (PWM detector runs on NHET1). If NHET2 is enabled, simple output functionality is gone. (or at least for a moment. the periphery is reseted and then firmware shuts down everything.)
So my question is: Is it possible to enable NHET2 and to manage some outputs manually?
