CCS/TMS570LS0432: Hercules Safety Demo App is unable to launch CCS

I got it.

Also, I have Hercules safety MCU Demos installed. There a code composer studio option, I am not able to open CCS from the MCU Demos it gives me error saying CCS not installed even though I have CCS_v9.3 installed.

Do you know why is it?

I'm not familiar with this application but it looks like it was created some time ago since it mentions CCSv4. The directory structure of CCS has undergone several changes since that version so it could be an issue of the application not finding the CCS executable to launch the IDE. In any case, I will move this thread to the Hercules forum. The experts there will be more familiar with this application and can help further.

Hi,

I couldn't get CCS v9 to work so I switched to CCS v7 and it works.

The structure of installation folder for CCS V7 and CCS V9 are different.

CCS V9: c:\ti\ccs900\ccs\...

CCS V7: c:\ti\ccs\...

The demo GUI may not find the CCS startup file in ti\ccs folder
