Hi,

We are in a process of selecting a processor for Safety critical application. Wanted to understand what kind of support or documentation is available from TI.

Also Does TI provide any qualified Drivers for the processor with testing artifacts and documentation.

Hi Suresh,

Hercules microcontrollers are designed specifically for use in applications targeting conformance to a functional safety standard. TI provides evidence for meeting the requirements of hardware and software development processes as per the IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 standards. Each Hercules MCU is also individually certified for use in applications targeting IEC 61508 up to SIL 3 and ISO 26262 up to ASIL D.

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for the links, I was able to establish NDA and download evaluation version and looks good.

Have couple of additional questions

1. How do i get costing details on getting full version

2. Is there any additional package required for DO178B/C support ?

We need a safeTI NDA in place before the detailed information can be shared. I am currently working on a draft for the NDA.
