Hi,
I work with TMS570LS1224. I want to do Motor control using this controller. I found the HVACI_Sensorless example in the ControlSuite Program, but this example is not for my controller, that is, another controller. Are there any other applications that I can review or use their libraries on this topic? Because for example, when I loaded the "svgen.h" and "IQmath.h" libraries, I got the following error.
gmake: *** [main.obj] Error 1
gmake: Target 'all' not remade because of errors.

    Hello,

    ControlSuite is developed only for C2000 MCUs. We removed Hercules motorware examples (for TMS570 + DRV8301) from ti.com since the TMS570 control card is no longer offered. DRV team may have new example for motor control code using TMS570 + DRV3205.

    Hello there,
    You said that you removed Motorware samples because the TMS570 control card was not offered.

    I chose this processor for motor control due to the SAFETY feature and I am trying to adapt the HVACI_Sensorless project in ControlSuite for the TMS570LS1224 processor. Am I wrong in this decision? And I received the following warning on the TEXAS INSTRUMENT page. It is said that the documents will be removed.

    Hello,

    The motorware for Hercules MCU was removed from ti.com, but it is still available on WIKI TI page. As you have already known, the WIKI TI page will be end-of-life at the end of 2020.

    Yes, you can import the driver from controlSuite for TMS570LS12x. But I recommend you try the motorWare for Hercules. This motorWare were tested on TMS570 and RM4x devices. The Hercules motorWare is located in https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/TMS570LS12x_CNCD

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice. 

    I want to control AC Motor, but the project you proposed is not for AC motors. So I can use ControlSuite, but if there is a project you can recommend for AC Motors, I can use it. The reason I chose the TMS570LS1224 processor was that the processor has a SECURITY feature. However, WIKI TI will end at the end of 2020. Will we be able to access the information on the site later (from where?)
    Is it reasonable to do this project for this processor? Is it more logical to use another processor?
