CCS/TMS570LC4357: debug error

hello,

I start up with TMS570LC43x launchpad and with the help of halogen I enable the gpio pin and then important the whole file to ccs7

and build the file with warning #112-D statement is unreachable

but when debug process is not executing as I received this error:

IcePick: Error connecting to the target: (Error -600 @ 0x0) A required dynamic library could not be located. The library isn't on the search path. (Emulation package 7.0.100.1)

so what should I do ,I also install XDS Emulation Software (EMUPack) Download 7.0.100.1

need guidance

BTW, The TMS570LC4357 launchpad has xds110 built-in emulator.

You are right in this launch pad xds100 emulator is built in install and i check it from device manager but still issue remain ,

What might be the case any guess

It is XDS110, not XDS100.

Yea writing mistake its is XDS110 emulator but still error occur

Hello,

Did you load any code to MCU flash before? Is the ERR led turned on? This ERR led is close to the nRST button.

The problem might be caused by the code you have programmed. The code in the flash makes the CPU enter an exception state repeatedly, and the CPU is not able to enter a debug state.

Please try this procedure to let CPU enter a debug state:
1. Open the target configuration window, and launch the selected the configuration
2. Switch to debug window
3. Press the reset (nRST) button and hold it
4. Click “Connect Target” immediately after you release the nRST button
5. The board should be connected after couple tries
