RM46L852: Discrepancy between data sheet and HALCoGen for N2HET2 parity error indication via ESM

I found a discrepancy between the data sheet (SPNS185C – SEPTEMBER 2012 – REVISED JUNE 2015) and the HALCoGen configuring the ESM channel. In the data sheet parity error for N2HET2 unit should be assigned to ESM 1.34 but in HALCoGen this channel is reserved and I can find no other channel in the configuration dialof which is assigned to this.


Is the data sheet wrong or what do I have to do to get a parity error indication for this hardware unit ?

    Hi Oliver,

    The datasheet is correct, the issue is with HALCoGen. You can configure the correct ESM group1 channel number using HALCoGen and process it in software using the ESM interrupt service routine.

    I will file this as a bug on HALCoGen.
