Dear Hercules Team,

we would like to use TMS570LC4357 MCU and we are looking for some guideline for initialization procedure.

Wer found the following document, which has been targeted for ARM CortexR4F based Hercules devices:

Can you please provide us with equivalent document for TMS570LC4357 with CortexR5F or point us to the right location?

    Hi Josef,

    This application note does not directly apply to TMS570LC4357, although many of the basic concepts are the same. You can use the safety diagnostics library (http://www.ti.com/tool/SAFETI_DIAG_LIB) for an example of how to initialize, test and enable the safety features on TMS570LC4357. This library includes a demo application that walks through the different checks that can be performed during initialization.
