Our customer are trying to control a DAC8734 with the TIVA chip TM4C123GH6PM. However, the DAC requires 24 bit SPI data transfers.
Is there a way to edit the driver to allow for 24 bit transfers?

Hi Art,
As you can see in the datasheet, the TM4C123 will de-assert CS after one frame (4 to 16 bits) of transmission. To interface with the DAC8734, I will suggest you don't use the SSInFSS signal but rather create your own CS signal using GPIO. You will assert a GPIO pin (acting as the CS to the DAC8734) low during your 24-bit transmission and assert the GPIO high after the transmission is done. You will configure the SSI character length to 8 bit for each frame so you will transmit three frames (3x8=24) to read/write the device.
