TMS570LC4357: TRIP Zone configuration

Hi Wang,

My question is not about identification of the specific Trip Zone interrupt which is activated the interrupt. How can I have multiple configurations for the switch conditions during Trip Zone interrupt.

From the Technical manual I have understood that Trip-Zone Control Register (TZCTL) flags TZA and TZB allows us to define the state of output to the following when the interrupt signal activated.

0h High-impedance (EPWMxA = High-impedance state).
1h Force EPWMxA to a high state.
2h Force EPWMxA to a low state.
3h Do nothing, no action is taken on EPWMxA.

This setting can work for (Example TZ1) one configuration setting. How can I handle the other two configurations during interrupt observed on TZ2 and TZ3?

First, you need to identify the source of the interrupt: TZ1, or TZ2, or TZ3

For your requirement,  TZ1 supposed to configure all top switches to ON and bottom to OFF. 

ePWMxA ( for top switch) -- TZA=1 to turn on

ePWMxB ( for bottom switch) -- TZB=2 to turn off

You mean we need to configure the TZCTL in the ISR. Not the static configuration at the initialization for multiple conditions. As I am simulating a 3 phase short circuit fault with the specified configuration, I have very small time (nano seconds) to move to configuration. this is the reason I am looking for static configuration.
