TMDS570LS12HDK: Hercules Safety MCU Demos

Hi everyone,

I'm getting started with Hercules TMS570LS12x/11x Development Kit (TMDS570LS12HDK). 

But I have problems with "Hercules Safey MCU Demos". 

When I open it, it shows the following error message: "The VI is not executable. The full development version of LabView is required to fix the errors".

I have installed LabView Runtime 2020 of National Instruments, but the problem still presists. 

Note that I'm using Windows 10.

What could I do?

    Hello Maria,

    The demo was designed to work under windows XP and windows 7. I didn't test it in Windows 10.

    Thank you very much for your answer, I really appreciate it.

    I have managed to get windows 7 and install the "Hercules Safety MCU Demos" program there.

    However, it still does not work. When the program is opened, it shows the following error message: 

    "Unable to locate the LabView Run-Time Engine. Hercules Safety MCU Demos requires a version 2010 (or compatible) LabView Run-Time Engine. Please, contact the vendor of Hercules Safety MCU Demos to correct this problem."

    How can I solve it? I installed LavView Run-Time 2010 separatedly but "Hercules Safety MCU Demos" does not work yet...

    Hi everyone,

    I solved the previous issue uninstalling and re-installing every thing.

    However, now I have another kind of problem. It does not find the device and shows the following message:

    "Hercules Demo Suit Launcher. No demo boards found. Plug in a Hercules Development Board and try again."

    I plug and unplug the HDK once and again but Hercules Safety MCUs Demo does not find it. What can I do?
