Dear Sir,

I tried many times to do the Onboard LED blinking programme as per the vedio available in your website.

But still it is not working. LED is not blinking. Am using PWM 0 for this example.

Please help me on this.

Hi Prajod,

Which board are you using? On LS1224 launchpad, the 2 user LEDs are connected to GIOB1 and GIOB2. Do you generate PWM signal on GIO pins?

The easier way is to toggle GIOB1 or GIOB2 in RTI timer ISR.

Which board are you using?

Yes,TMS570LS1224 board am using.

In tried with Pin 8 to toggle with PWM0. I refred this example https://training.ti.com/hercules-how-tutorial-pwm-generation-using-hercules-launchpad

Hello,

As I said the user LEDs are connected to GIOB[1] and GIOB[2]. The PWM signal on NHET[8] pin can not toggle those LEDs.

In HALCoGen:

1. Enable GIO module

2. Configure GIOB[1] and GIOB[2] as output

In main():

1. call GIO init: gioInit()

2. call GIO API: gioToggleBit(gioPORTB, 0x2); this will turn on or turn off one of the LED which connects to GIOB[1].

This project won't work for TMS570LS1224 launchpad.

1. This launchpad uses GIOB[1] and GIOB[2] for 2 user LEDs. You should initialize GIO module: gioInit()

2. Set GIOB[2:1] as output, but you set NHET pins as output instead.

gioSetDirection(gioPORTB, 0xFF);
