we have some issue with the new version of the LDRA unit TI Qual (9.8.3) when working with the SafeTI TAU.

We get compile errors from undefined symbols (e.g: QQQindicator , qqqupload , qqzzglobarrb , etc.) resulting from LDRA instrumentation,which was not something that occurred when we tried running the demo application, which was a 9.4.3 LDRA unit TI Qual release.

We are currently just setting up and testing with the demo_app on the lc4357 devkit.

Is there anything else to modify in the configuration when using the SafeTI TAU with 9.8.3 as compared to 9.4.3.

Hi Ugo,

The TAU delivered with LDRA 9.4.3 is not compatible with LDRA 9.8.x.

Hi QJ,

We are using the TAU coming from the 2.4.0_LDRA_Less package. Would that have a compatibility issue with LDRA UNIT TI QUAL 9.8.x?

Hello Ugo,

As far as I know, this TAU is not compatible with LDRA 9.8.x. But I will check with our experts who developed HalCoGen and SafetyLib CSPs.

The CSPs were tested with LDRARun version 9.8.2 as well. Please check with LDRA using their contact information for technical support on this page: https://ldra.com/contact-us/

We will verify with them.

In the meanwhile, is there any way to debug the generated code? i.e if we have some issues with our application specific configuration, and would like to see at what point there is an issue in the execution.

Is there a way to use CCS to do so?

Yes, an out file is created after compile and link of the instrumented code. This is most likely under the {HCG_project}\Debug folder when executing the test using the TAU. You can also program the part directly using CCS with this code to debug execution.
