TMS570LS3137: MibSPI Communication Inter MCUs

Hello,

We have two TMS570LS3137 MCUs. And we would like to make these MCUs communicate via MibSPI's. My question is this method is safe and reliable. Because we are aiming to establish 2oo2 voting with these MCUs. Since MibSPI has no CPU intervention this may lead a problem?

The MibSPI has the following HW functional safety features which in MibSPI:

1. MibSPI RAM data parity

2. Parity in message

3. loopback mode (digital and analog, and I/O loopback)

4. Pbist check of MibSPI RAM

5. Data error detection (bit error, desync, timeout, data length error, etc).

6. Bit multiplexing in MibSPI RAM

Since MibSPI supports parity (part of payload) and data error detection, the communication path is safed, resulting in end-to-end safing.
