TMS570LC4357: ESM Error 1.31 during self-tests PMM5 of (CCM-R5F) PSCON lockstep self-test?

Hello, Team supporting the Hercules micros,

(Q1) Could an ESM Group 1 Error Channel 31 (1.31) be issued during a self-test of the PSCON lockstep within the (CCM-R5F)?
Sections 5.3.7.2 to 5.3.7.4 of the TRM spnu563a call ESM Group 1 Error Channels 38 and 39 as tables 6-45, 6-46 of the DS spns195c do.
In my understanding the diagnostics PMM1 "PSCON lockstep" is located in (CCM-R5F) which is said to issue an ESM 1.31.

Hi Stephan,

ESM 1.31 is for CCM-R5F selftest

PMM is not located in CM-R5F. PSCON: Power domain compare error and power domain selftest error are mapped to ESM 1.38 and ESM 1.39

Your information that PMM1 isn't located in (CCM-R5F) was very helpful.
I just asked as chapter 13 of the TRM spnu563a especially figure 13-1 gives a contrary impression.

Just an addendum.

I mixed up
(1) "PD inactivity monitor" which seems to be located in (CCM.R5F) indeed and
(2) "PSCON lockstep" which is located in (PMM) but not in (CCM-R5F) according to your answer.

You are correct. The CCM-R5F has two main functions:

1. compare: two CPU cores, and 2 VIM modules

2. inactivity monitor: PD, and checker core --------- PD error is mapped to ESM 2.28
