EVM for 360degree Surround View System

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA2, TDA4VM

Hello,

We are looking for EVM for a 2D 360 degree surround view camera system. Please suggest a suitable EVM for this application.

Is the sample algorithm available part of the EVM?

I am reading through the application note spry270a.pdf, May I know more about the EVMs used in this application note.

Regards,

Infant Jesuraj .

  • Hi Infant Jesuraj,

The Application Note is referencing the TDA2 series of SoCs. There are various SoCs in the TDA2.

Additionally, we have newer SoC family such as TDA3 and TDA4 also to serve such usecases.

There are many different options available to realize your 360 degree Surround View System and I would like to point you to https://www.ti.com/processors/automotive-processors/tdax-adas-socs/overview.html as the starting point to start exploring the capability to match your end requirement.

All EVMs together with additional equipments such as the daughter card and cameras are supported by a relevant SDK from TI that will contain demos such as Surround View etc.

Please explore them from the link above.

    Regards

    Karthik

  • Hello Karthik,

Can you provide more information about the daughter cards and Cameras? I can find a number EVM's but not sure about the additional equipments.

  • Hi Infant Jesuraj,

The daughter cards and the camera will vary with the product that you choose.

So, for example, if you take TDA4VM - you can go to the product page and then navigate to the corresponding page: https://www.ti.com/tool/TDA4VMXEVM

On that page, you can find the details of the daughter cards and cameras that it supports etc.

I request you to go through the links corresponding to the product that you identify and let us know if you have any further questions.

    Regards

    Karthik
