CCS/RM48L952: rti interrupt is not generated using simulator

I am using simulator to check interrupt generation in CCS v5.5. But provided sample example code by HALCOGEN is also not working. I am not able to debug the code.

Hello,

The simulator is not supported in CCS6.x or later version anymore. The simulator on CCS5.x models the CPU core function only. It doesn't model the DMA, and peripherals.

I am very new to hercules and CCS.

Could you please provide support to generate system software interrupt? What should be the steps to generate SSI using HALCOGEN and CCS?

Please do testing using a HW tool: TI HDK which has a built-in XDS100V2 JTAG emulator.
